What’s new
- Your start place will be the Sevii Islands.
- Besides the Sevii Islands, there is a totally new region: Empire Isle.
- All 386 Pokemon from the first three generations are capturable.

- New difficulty level.
- You can meet Gary again and moreover, battle Professor Oak.
- The eight royal badges cannot be accepted in the normal ways, some of them require more.
